The elected officials in township government consist of a supervisor, four trustees, a township clerk, the assessor, and the highway commissioner.
Township government is responsible for providing an office and facilities for the Assessor, as well as maintaining roads and bridges under the authority of the Township Highway Commissioner. Another duty of Township government is to provide for the needy in the community through the Supervisor's office. The Clerk's Office maintains records and administers voting procedures.
