Endnote Wps
EndNote libraries can be accessed on a network – including networks with Macintosh and Windows workstations. Multiple users on a network can access an EndNote library simultaneously in read-only mode. This allows users to search for references, cite them in their papers and create bibliographies. So, I think it would be a good option to make Endnote compatible with Kingstone Office (WPS Office) as WPS is a good alternative to Word used by an increasing number of customers. In fact, WPS offers many rich features that Word does not offer (for eg. Multitabs) but so far Endnote is not supported in WPS, which is really regretable! There may be a number of reasons why, if you have had the Cite While You Write (CWYW) add-in showing in Word previously, it may have dropped off. Below are solutions for both Mac and Windows devices:
Windows
To reinstate the EndNote tab in Word on Windows devices, please follow the instructions below in the first instance:
- In Word, click the File tab and choose Options.
- Select Add-Ins from the left hand menu.
- Under the heading Active Application Add-ins, check whether you have the EndNote Cite While You WriteCOM Add-in (see the Type column).
- If it is not listed, then go down to the bottom of the window to the Manage drop-down list.
- With COM Add-ins showing, click Go..
- If CWYW is installed, then EndNote Cite While You Write will appear as one of the add-ins available. Make sure the box beside it is ticked, then click OK.

To re-instate EndNote X8/X9 in Word on Macs, please see the first link below.
If this solution does not fix the issue, please refer to the Cite While You Write FAQs page from the EndNote website (linked below) - scroll down to find the answer that fits your versions of Word and EndNote.
NOTE: There was a compatibility issue with EndNote X7 and the MacIntosh OS Sierra which has been corrected in the latest version X8.
A Cite While You Write patch is available for EndNote X7 that addresses the compatibility issue with Office 2016/Office 365 on Macintosh [the Endnote toolbar tab not appearing in the Word menu]. Bitdefender virus scanner mac free download. The patch will become automatically available after successful installation of X7.

First, try rebooting your computer. If that does not work, try the following:
Endnote 和 Wps
- Install the EndNote update(s) from http://endnote.com/support/enupdates.asp
- Open EndNote, and go to the EndNote menu. Select Customizer from the EndNote menu. Check the box in front of the Cite While You Write option. Click next until the Customizer is finished. Open a library. Then open Word and check the Tools menu for the EndNote submenu.
Endnote Wps Software

If the tools do not appear:
- Close Word and EndNote.
- Open your hard drive and go to the folder: EndNote X-: Applications:EndNote X-:Cite While You Write
- Copy the file EndNote CWYW Word 2011.bundle
- Go to the folder Applications:Microsoft Office 2011:Office:Startup:Word and paste the copied file
- Start Word, go to Word > Preferences and click on File Locations
- Make sure the Startup folder is set by highlighting Startup and clicking on Modify. Select the folder Applications:Microsoft Office 2011:Office:Startup:Word and click Choose
- Click OK and close Word.
- Start EndNote and then start Word.

If the tools still do not appear:
- Change Word Preferences so it will not automatically open up the document gallery (which can prevent EndNote from connecting)
As a last resort, try reinstalling EndNote. For technical assistance contact EndNote Technical Support.
